The Weimaraner breed came from Germany and was registered with the AKC in 1943. The life expectancy is about 10-12 years. Females weigh about 55-70 pounds and stand about 23-25 inches tall. Males weigh about 75-90 pound and stand about 25-27 inches tall. The grooming is easy but does need to be done on a regular basis to keep the coat shiny.
The love outdoor adventures and love to be active. They are very intelligent which makes training easy. Weimaraners make great companion dogs and family pets, especially if they are raised with children.
